Happy Half a Year!!!!
Six months old today. Hurray for Éowyn Catherine.
Today we are coming to visit you and I am bringing you cookies. I have been waiting a long time to give them to you.The thing is I know how much you will LOVE these cookies.(also they will make a big mess but that is part of the fun)
We were a little worried about coming today because we have all had colds but your mama said it would be alright so we will see you after your nap.

Hello Éowyn my lovey girl. We just passed our first
Christmas with you in our lives. My goodness your Baba and I love you. We talk about you all the time. Every day at least 2 times your Baba asks me,”How is Éowyn today?”
This whole business of being a grandmother is a real learning experiance for me. Learning about granny love is something I never quite expected. It’s a strange kind of love.
There are lots of flavas to this love. LOVE, pride, joy, a kind of jealousy (yeah that’s strange!). I have been trying to figure out the jealousy thing and it’s complicated. I think it’s kind of like I will not have the baby the same way I had your mother, and because I know how powerful the mother love is I will not have my baby, your mother the same either. Everything has changed. It’s all good, very good just different and I never knew about how it would be different.
What’s very cool is watching you grow into yourself. I really look forward to you learning to love me. You are starting to know me and that’s something but it will be awesome when you start to want me. Oh my!!
A few days ago Baba and I brought a toy to your house. Baba and your mama were putting it together and I held you while we watched. You were watching them very intently and every once in a while you would look at me… very seriously for a few seconds and then you would smile. Oh my god. When you smile at me my heart almost hurts.
I love you baby girl and I look forward to your hand in mine.

your nana is silly baby girl – i love her and your babaa very very much and it makes me very happy to go and spend time with them – i did that even way way way before you were born. now that you’re here it’s the sweetest thing to see them so happy to see you, even indiana gets excited when you come over! you are napping with your nana right now, and i didn’t bring any laundry at all – don’t you listen to her she’s very nice to help me like that, and your babaa has been wonderful too, helping your dad and i make our home nice for you with the new floor and the carpet cleaning and the bathroom work and all the other ways he helps when i need it. we’re very lucky to have a good family like we do, not every one has that kind of closeness. i’m going to make sure we always have time with your nana and babaa because they will teach you wonderful things without you even knowing it, and because they will always always love you for who you are and not who they want you to be.
so. now i’m going to make meatloaf. PLEASE SLEEP AND STOP SUCKING ON ME FOR LIKE, HALF AN HOUR MAYBE KTHX

the secret of the nanacat is doing your laundry is really (i do mean it) really a pleasure. I don’t know if i would get to see you as much if your mama had her own washer and dryer. so the laundry situation is very symbyotic (sic) we all get something from this.

Hi Guys!! I have few moments to check in on you, sounds like your doin great and Baby Girl sounds Healthy and Happy!! We miss Steve it’s been crazy here, but we miss you for you too!!!
If there is aything you need or anything at all please let me know, I think of you all the time and it is so wonderful that you are a little family, really cool things are going to happen and it is truely a miricle to witness! i rented Lord of the Rings agin to watch because I wanted to see E’owyn, only got through the first part so she hasn’t entered into the movie yet!!
